We are excited to announce the arrival of the newest learning environments in our ImagiLearning Island chain in Second Life. These two islands, ImagiLearning Highlands and ImagiLearning Lowlands, are a fantastic space that will serve as the home of our TranceFormational Learning model.

Our research and practice over the past 30 years has shown us that a key to success in learning, training, business and personal life, is to continually seek to understand the changes taking place around us, and to creatively adapt and revise our beliefs and practices to live the fullest in the midst of those changes. Over the past six years, we have found the virtual environment of Second Life to be a powerful tool for helping understand the changes taking place today, as well as a great platform for testing and practicing how we might adapt.

This work has led to the development of TranceFormational Learning, our philosophy and model to design activities that more actively engage multiple sensory channels to the brain as a way to increase learning, understanding and the potential for meaningful change. TL provides a framework to guide the design of learning activities, business and marketing strategies, and personal goal setting in ways that are leading to increased success.

The seven steps of TranceFormational Learning will be presented in the highly immersive environment of our new islands in SL, along with a range of activities designed to provide our clients with new insights and skills.

We are currently renovating parts of the islands and will be holding a grand opening of our new space soon. We will post details here.

One other note...

I'm am frequently asked if Second Life has any real potential for marketing or gaining real visibility. Just as one simple idea...the two islands we have now purchased have been in SL for a couple of years now, and are a very nice and relaxing environment. Since taking possession of the island, we have been contacted by some 2,000 people in SL wondering when the islands will be open again. That's 2,000 individuals from the global community...some from every continent. That's not a bad following for a simple investment...
